Look for the following email in your inbox, to start your Onboarding Process, make sure you check your Spam Folder
- The subject of that email is Onboarding New Agent and it comes from support-hcms@uppatop.com
Please make sure you complete the following information
- National Producer Number, If you don’t know your NIPR please CLICK HERE
- DOB
After the verification of the basic details, an OTP verification screen will be displayed. A 6-digit OTP will be shared with the mobile number and email obtained from NIPR.
Please use the dashes on your Phone number format
Once the OTP is verified, the producer will be taken to a tab where they have to select the Tax Identification Number (TIN) type; SSN or ITIN.
If changes are needed in the data shown, the producer has to log in to the NIPR through
the link on the red banner and make the updates.
After the verification of the details, you need to set up a password
The password you set up will be the same for all Family First Life websites (HCMS, Gateway, ILC, NLC)

Complete next level contracting
BY ACCESSING NLC YOU CAN COMPLETE CONTRACTING WITH AMERICO, MUTUAL OF OMAHA , AMERICAN AMICABLE AND COREBRIDGE/ AIG
- NLC will allow you to get contracted with Americo, Mutual Of Omaha, American Amicable and Corebridge/AIG
Agents will still use SureLC to contract with other carriers or Recontract with Mutual of Omaha
Your contracts in NLC are not completed until it says ‘submitted’ otherwise it stores as a draft.
Review all your personal informationa nd make sure it’s accurate
Make sure you add a beneficiary because you get renewals since day 1 if something happens to you your beneficiary can claim those renewals commissions
- Select Electronic Deposit to your bank account
- Select Pay Frequency as Daily
- Fill out your Routing and Account Number
- Make sure to upload a VOIDED CHECK
- The profile will ask you to upload E&O insurance, the carriers require this coverage. We recommend using https://www.napa-benefits.org/
errors-and-omissions - Please select the 2nd option (Option B) to obtain coverage. Once you have the certificate please upload it to NLC
The profile will ask for AML info, if you have not taken this through LIMRA or you are a Newly Licensed Agent, please SKIP AML TAB . Once you have submitted your MUTUAL OF OMAHA contract they will sponsor you to get AML training done through LIMRA. This section will remain YELLOW, but you will be able to submit carrier submissions without it being green.
- Once you have been sponsored by one of the companies (Mutual of Omaha) to get your AML go to LIMRA
- Username is your Nationa Producer Number and your password is your last name all lower case.

- The need a 7 year Employment History with no gaps
- Answer all background questions.
- Did you answer YES to a background question? If you think at any point, there will be something that comes up in your background check or credit check you will need to write a letter of explanation. You will also need to include any copies of court documents if you have any charges on your record. You can upload these items to the system directly and add any explanations necessary.
Type your full legal name and this will apply a digital signature to all you contracts submitted through NLC
Click I accept to consent the use of a digital signature
After your profile is complete, go to Request if you were not redirected after completing your profile.
- Create one Request for each Insurance Company
- Select New Contracting if this is your first time getting appointed with that company other wise, select New Contracting (ReInstatement)
- If you select to be contracted in multiple states at once you’ll have to pay fees, Please make sure you contract on the states you are actually planning to write business in.
- Form Submission: Please Review all contracting documents generated. You have to scroll all the way down before you can agree and authorize the submission of the contract
- To apply your digital signature a code will be sent to your phone number. Type that code under Signature Key
- Apply your Contract Application Password (Same Password to login to HCMS/NLC)
HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY CONTRACT REQUETS HAS BEEN APPROVED?
Please make sure your request is SUBMITTED and not a DRAFT
24-48 hours after you have successfully submitted your contracting request NLC will updated the status
- “Corporate Rejected” – It means that our main corporate office is not going to send your contract to the insurance company because there is missing information. For details please read the comment section.
- “Corporate Approved” – It means that our main corporate office has sent your paperwork to the insurance company for review
- “Pending with Carrier” – It means that the insurance company is reviewing your application.
- “Carrier Approved” – It means that the company has approved your contract and you are ready to sell their products
- “Carrier Rejected” – It means that the insurance compsny rejected your request. Please contact the insurance company directly for details about the rejection
If your request was approved the carrier will assign a writing number that will be added to your profile and a notification will be visible in NLC

After you have picked the option above please select (Option B) for the type of coverage.
Once you have the certificate please upload it.
Prosperity has its own AML training that needs to be completed regardless of whether you have completed this training before
- After you complete AML your contract will be approved in 24-48 hours

Set up SURELC (for additional companies if needed)
BY ACCESSING SURELC YOU CAN COMPLETE CONTRACTING WITH ADDITIONAL INSURANCE COMPANIES
You should have received the following email from Support HCMS <no-reply@uppatop.com> Family First Life (FFL) – Contracting Process
SureLC will allow you to complete CONTRACTING with additional insurance companies like Aetna, Foresters, and Mutual of Omaha Re-contract
To add additional companies to your Surelc profile please contact admin@fflafamilia.com
Select Register New Account – make sure you see FFL La Familia on the top right
**It will ask for your:
- SS#
- Last Name
- Date of Birth
** Use a NEW email if you have ever used SuranceBay before. Must be all-new, or it will not come to our team. It will get lost
After entering your DOB the system will check the NIPR database to make sure you are a licensed producer. Once your account has been located, a confirmation message will be shown.
Next, you’ll receive a confirmation email at the address entered as your Login ID. The email will be sent from setup@surancebay.com. Locate the email and select Click Here link to activate your account and complete the account registration process. At this point you’ll be redirected to a page where you can create your login password.

Individual
This option should be selected when when the producer will be paid commissions directly from the insurance company at the set commission rate. Producers will receive a 1099 with their SSN at the end of the year from the insurance company.
DON’T SELECT ANY ADDITIONAL OPTIONS
- If you think at any point, there will be something that comes up in your background check or credit check you will need to write a letter of explanation. You will also need to include any copies of court documents if you have any charges on your record. You can upload these items to the system directly and add any explanations necessary.
- Did you answer YES to a background question? Make sure to attach a letter of explanation
- In place of a voided check, we can accept a letter from your bank. It must be signed by a bank representative and include your routing number, account number and personal information on bank letter-head.
- These are the ONLY two options for setting up direct deposit payments. They won’t accept deposit slips, bank cards, or anything other than a check or bank letter-head.

- If not, SuranceBay has the Link for Cal Insurance, where you can complete the E&O insurance. If you aren’t sure which product to buy, choose the 2nd Cal Insurance E&O Product out of the 3 choices given, it will cover you for everything.
- DRAW SIGNATURE – Choose this option when you don’t have access to a printer or scanner and want to review the signature authorization form on screen. Once reviewed, terms can be accepted and then a digital signature can be created on-screen via mouse or drawn when using a mobile device or tablet.
After your profile is complete, go to contracting request and create a Request for each Insurance Company Available if none please contact admin@fflafamilia.com
IF YOU ARE ALREADY CONTRACTED WITH ANY OF THE COMPANIES AVAILABLE PLEASE CLICK ON TRANSFER INSTEAD OF CONTRACT
- After logging into your SureLC account, go to the Contracting Requests page.
- This will take you to the At Producer tab by default. Select the Create Request button to begin. for more detailed Instructions CLICK HERE

After you have submitted all your companies log back in about 48 hours and make sure the status of those contracts are at Carrier if one of them says producer you probably missed something and you need to resubmit the contract
Once the contract is at Carrier call the companies to find out what’s the status o your appointment request
